Travel & Design by designgush: Agape / Raw Collaboration MilanoPosted: October 18, 2011
Another gem seen on the Milano tour was the collaboration space between Italian companies Agape and Raw, an interior design firm led by Paolo Badesco. As explained by Viviana Fedeli, designer who contributed to the design of the interior, the temporary space at Via Statuto 12 is a way to bring objects from the past together with today’s modern designs creating a uniquely Italian perspective on eclectic design. It’s a look not often seen in the Italian approach to design and therefore intriguing. The result marries antique elements with minimalist sophistication for which Italian design is so known. The designers incorporate letters and words into the space, all of which come from old Parisian signage, adding yet another layer of poignant design elements and recognizing the importance of bold visual communication in modern design.
